Singer and song writer Claudine Clark was born in Macon, Georgia on April 26, 1941. She moved to Philadelphia and began recording in 1958, backed by The Spinners. She then moved to New York searching for success which finally came when she joined Chancellor Records. Her only major success was her self-composed song “Party Lights”. She continued to record under the name Joy Dawn but did not have any further success.
